Polish Happy Hour Chicago (Fri, 7/25/2008) - POLISH PROFESSIONALS! Alliance of Polish Clubs Harvest Fest 2008, Sunday, August 24 th in Yorkville, IL (Sun, 8/24/2008) - Alliance of Polish Clubs is having its Annual Harvest Fest, picnic in Yorkville, Sunday August 24 th. There will be sport activities for children. Out door Polish mass at 11:00 AM and continue with 2:00 PM presentation by Teatr "Rzepicha", and other attraction.

Polish Festival - September 27, 28th, 2008 (Sat, 9/27/2008 through Sun, 9/28/2008) - Polish Festival - September 27, 28th, 2008 Some people are asking about the Polish Festival dates. Traditionally, the Polish Festival takes place on the last full weekend of September, this year, Sept 27, 28. We will be looking for volunteers (three months before the festival), but by now put a red-white mark (Polish national colors) in your calendar on Sept 27, 28. Polish Festival Slogan We plan to change the festival slogan for this year. In the last several years, the festival slogan has been "The best kept secret of Portland, Oregon". However, the festival grew up so much so it is not a "secret" any more. A week ago, I received a suggestion from a festival attendee, it reads: "You can't spell Portland without Poland!" There are also other suggestions: "The biggest Polish Festival on the West Coast" or "The biggest Polish festival West of Chicago" Do you have any suggestion? Please send it to marek@gte.net
